ll property owners who live within the Bryn Du Woods subdivisions are required by the terms of their deeds to be members of the Bryn Du Woods Homeowners Association. The Association is governed by a board of trustees that is elected annually for one year terms. Any member of the Association who is in good standing is eligible to serve on the board.
The rights and responsibilities of the Association and its members are enumerated in protective covenants and design guidelines. Each member of the Association receives copies of these documents upon purchasing property in the subdivision.
The Association's dues are set by the membership at its annual meeting. Each property owner presently pays a $250 membership fee that supports such functions as maintenance of common property, street lighting, professional fees, insurance, and social events.
